Castle Plastics was founded by our great grandfather in 1920. He and his bride migrated from Italy to the United States in 1911, and for several years, worked in a local shirt factory. In 1920, he started Castle Button Company. Under the same family ownership, and with many product and location changes, we are still in the plastics business. Materials, tool and dies, and injection molding have been in our family business all these years. We are now preparing to celebrate our 80th anniversary.
The Rest is History.......... We have now been in the hoof pad industry for ten years. We take pride in the innovation and quality of products that we have introduced over the years. To name just a few: Hospital Pads, Frog Support Kits, Magnetic Pads, and Egg Bar Pads. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the farriers and the horseshoe supply dealers for instructing us in a business that was totally foreign to us; and also thank them for assisting us in bringing many other products to market. Many of these products are used extensively in your work every day. Over the years, we have become known as the company that listens, therefore, we share our success with the many farriers and horseshoe supply dealers that have conveyed their thoughts as to what pads would assist them in their work. All of our pads are manufactured from virgin polyurethane material, resulting in the finest quality products you have come to expect from Castle Plastics.
